Takashi Miwa joined Nomura in 1990 and has been engaged in macroeconomic and financial market analysis of various countries throughout his career. Having completed his MA legal studies (LL.M equivalent) in 2001, Takashi has strength in analyzing economies and markets from a legal and administrative perspective. Since 2013, he has also supported strategic planning for Nomura’s retail business and has gained a very high reputation with top management of regional banks and financial institutions. Takashi authored several textbooks on economics and finance for beginners that are popular among university students and young graduates starting careers in financial institutions.
