Paul Clarke, Managing Director, is a member of BlackRock’s Risk and Quantitative Analysis Group, responsible for Counterparty Risk.

Mr Clarke joined BlackRock following the merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (“MLIM”) in 2006. At MLIM, he was responsible for global performance analysis and counterparty risk management. Prior to joining MLIM in 2000, Mr Clarke was a performance analyst at Philips & Drew.

Mr Clarke serves as a member of the Risk Committee of Eurex Clearing AG, advising the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board on any arrangements that may impact the risk management of the Central Counterparty (“CCP”).

Mr Clarke earned a BA degree in Business Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
